In the McDowell foothills of Scottsdale, the Cortez Residence was renovated room by room to a single, coherent standard. The heart of the home is a new kitchen in white oak and flowing quartzite — full-height stone at the range, a waterfall island, and brass fixtures throughout.
The primary suite gained a spa-grade bath: freestanding tub, marble walk-in shower with dual rain heads, and an L-shaped white-oak vanity with lit mirrors and a beverage station. Guest baths, the garage, and the outdoor living spaces — kitchen, spa, fire pit, and pool terrace — were carried to the same finish, inside and out.
